Miami defeated Florida by a score of 8-7 in the first game and 3-1 in the second game. The victories paved the way for Miami to play in the College World Series. Both games were played at Mark Light Field in Coral Gables, Florida. It was the third consecutive year that the Gators were eliminated from post-season play by the Hurricanes.
